San Antonio Trip 2009
It started off as a trip to San Antonio to see the Alamo with the Kids for Spring Break, but it turned out to be much more than just a road trip half way across the country to see the Alamo. We made some pretty cool stops(unscheduled stops) shown as white dots along the blue highlighted route. The first stop was Tombstone AZ. This place is pretty cool. Its a real ghost town with good places to eat and even stay the night if you wanted. Its off the 10 about 90 minutes east of Tucson. We stopped for lunch checked out the Bird Cage Theatre walked around a bit then got back to business and headed off. We then stopped in Las Cruces NM for the night, its kinda the half way point to San Antonio. The Second day of the trip we were off to San Antonion where we stayed for a couple of days to enjoy the Riverwalk, Alamo and most of Downtown San Antonio. On our way out of San Antonio we stopped at Boerne TX to go and check out our first Cavern. The place is great, it doesn't have a name but we were hooked. We decided that on our way back home that we were gonna try and see as many caverns as possible. Naturally we had to stop at the Carlsbad Caverns in NM. The size of this Cavern is just amazing. We walked for 2 miles down into the cavern.

Looks like a great family vacation! The photos are amazing, subjects couldn't be any better, good composition and lighting! Not to mention that nice little point and shoot you upgraded to, took super razor sharp photos with a tat of softness. You have a good eye & creativity, but your gonna have to explain the auxiliary lighting and reflectors mister!!!! why didn't you mention them before...Hmmmm! J/K I have a possible model photo shoot coming up, so I'm gonna need some tips!

Whoa..... I'm blown away yet again at all these beautiful shots, we get to vicariously take this trip right along with you it is that engaging.HA! That map really puts that mileage into perspective too! Holymoly....Arrrgh.... Can't believe you spent the night in Lost Causes before shooting down to San Tone *stomps feet* My aphasia doesn't let me recall the weather around those nights, I hope it was at least a beautiful one. If you can't remember either you need to return! :)Now, about those Caverns. They totally bring the WOW! Can't wait to hit that place with Paul. He will lose his mind in there for sure, we both will. ;pThe rest of that trip reigned too! This region of the country is pretty spectacular historically. So glad you've taken the time to share this with us!See you guys in a few weeks.xoxo
